Planet Clark is an outreach and education partnership that shares many messages and resources within the Clark County community. We visit schools, home shows, and neighborhoods to increase awareness and help people take steps to improve their homes and the environment.
- High-performance, sustainably-built homes
- Better indoor air quality
- Energy efficiency
- Safe building practices
- Environmental stewardship
- Low-impact development
- Residential stormwater management
- Non-invasive species/Native plants
- Sustainable living
We have a number of resources we use to serve the community: a 20-foot-long Planet Clark trailer, three websites, newsletter, YouTube channel, and Facebook page. However, the most important resource has always been our amazing volunteer force! Planet Clark volunteers can bolster their resume, build a great contact network, and gain invaluable experience. Some have even gotten jobs as a result of working on the Planet Clark team!
